One of the simplest tools for backing up your DVD's, however it has not been
updated (and will not be) for a few years so many new DVD protections cannot be
broken with this one.
First, you need to get the program:
GET IT HERE
OK, now you must install it.
- After installation double click DVD Shrink icon on desktop
- Insert your DVD
- Click on Open Disc
- It will analyze disc (may take between 3 and 10 minutes)
- After you finish analyze, you may have to take a few check out of the
languages if the size is too big
- Click on back-up
- (now for the tricky part)
- When it ask about where to burn the disc, you may be tempted to let it
burn on a disc, I do not recommend this method. You should do the
following
- Select ISO (image file) then proceed by clicking backup
- it may take between 10 and 45 minutes depending on movie type
- when it's done, close DVD Shrink
- (now the fun part)
- Double click on My Computer
- Double Click on Local Disc C
- Find the file you just made (will be the movie name)
- Double click on it (it should open Nero, if not then use the chose
program option and select Nero)
- Select number of copies you would like, insert a blank DVD, and click on
Burn
- When you have finished burning the DVD, you must delete the ISO image
file or you will very quickly fill up your hard drive.
- So, after you burn, right click on the image file, select delete.
- it will tell you the file is too large for the recycle bin, and ask you
want to permanently delete it
- Answer yes
All Done, you can do many DVD with This method, good luck and happy burning
